He also lost his jock strap. Think Laine picked that up for him yet?

Albin Grewe has signed for 2 years at Swedish club Mora IK of the second-tier Allsvenskan. It doesn't look as he is pursuing an NHL career.....

I think that’s a clip he’ll be watching. He’s smart and works his butt off. That one will keep him awake tonight

I hope your wrong about Blashill leaning on this game to send Raymond down... especially with the body of work we've seen from this coach who in my opinion is not, nor ever will be a quality NHL level coach... I guess we will see.... Im more concerned with Zadina, I get it.. he works hard and puts the effort in... but the filling of nets with pucks is desperately needed and I'm not sure its going to happen... hope I'm wrong, and as previously stated I hope Raymond gets a shot on the big club....

There’s nothing to read into for that game. CBJ had basically their NHL D group playing. DET had an AHL heavy D group playing.

I've no clue why I couldn't watch the feed from the CBJ site...I tried everything. Couldn't even get it on my phone, ended up listening via The Ticket website on my laptop.

Being honest, the game went about how I thought it would, but the D was a little more porous than I figured (minus Sebrango.....). The deal with Sebrango, I'm not overly upset about. He's got some solid tools, but he's only played in Jrs as I understand it, he was an exemption from the CHL to play AHL, if what I read was correct (or what I understood from what I read). That kid's got some incubation time coming, but seems to have a pretty good head-space, all things considered.

Watched the NHL channel this morning as I was getting ready for work; Wing's game is on the NHL channel tonight so I can watch it.

I'm just not overly upset about last night; I have some reservations, mind you. What I REALLY want to see is a more solidified NHL-type roster hit the ice, they need time to jell and playing the AHL-bound kids isn't helping any. Need to build that rhythm, that ability to know where your line-mate's going to be, build cohesiveness, now's the time to do that, IMHO.

That's probably an understatement, Jeremy. Based on what I've seen of this kid in interviews, etc... My $$ says he was looking at his play on his phone in the locker-room after the game...

Who are you kidding! He had the tablet on the bench right when he got back there!!

That is what people need to remember about him. If he is going to be playing top 4/top2 minutes as a 20 year old, there are going to be moments like this. Laine is a couple years removed from being on the cusp of superstar, he has insane talent.

Do you guys remember Hasek sleeping in the locker room to punish himself after a loss? I don’t think we’ll see that again, but for sure Seider doesn’t like to be on the wrong side of a highlight.

I just watched that play: Laine did strip Mo of his socks. I'm not upset, nor surprised; He's an excellent skater and has been doing the NHL-thing for quite a while. Plus, he was against a "kid" with absolutely ZERO NHL ice-time. I didn't see anything after the goal so I cannot attest to him having a tablet there, but I WHOLLY agree with you!!

This kid will be an insane prep guy; hours and hours of analysis, nights on end looking at opponents, how he played them, what his mistakes were, how to learn from them. I feel sorry for the Wing's video coach; that guy's not going to have any eye-sight when Mo Sides is done with him!!!

I like this kid. Even the NHL Tonight guys were raving about him. They were cautious, a bit, to be sure. But you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who says this kid's a joke.

Chelly on the stationary bike in the hot-room, Hasek beating himself up & sleeping in the shed......there's a generational thing there; those guys were inculcated with a work-ethic, a self-driven desire to excel. It's rare, VERY rare, to see a KID do what he does to improve. I'd love an insider report on what Mo does to learn and grow. He's a KID that may well be on everyone's lips as a Calder Top2 in the very near future.
